A
few years back the IFF, led by Marc Hug, were most known for organizing
and performing at Galactique, a popular series of West Philly multiroom
crackhouse-like ghetto-raves (complete with 40s and a chillout room upstairs),
not to mention the yearly trips to Burning Man and other massive fringe
events. Around 2003, with some new members and a new approach, they shipped
off to L.A., then hit some heavy touring. Marc Hug is now back east in
Brooklyn, and this is the new sound of the IFF.
